Guided tour of Marrakech Souks and medina

A half-day guided tour designed to be a first contact with the Old Town of Marrakech. Its purpose is to give some geographical and historical landmarks. Your guide will quickly explain the history of Marrakech, its foundation and its nearly a thousand years of history.
The tour begins with the Medersa Ben Youssef (Koranic school) located in the centre of the Medina. From there you will cross the souks completely. Your guide will explain to you the organization, will show you the neighborhoods where are installed the main trades. You will thus reach the Jemaa el Fna square, the heart of the city where Reigns almost 24 hours on 24 an extraordinary spontaneous animation : merchants, storytellers, drummers, snake charmers, fortune tellers, sorcerers, restaurants, orange juice shops,… So much so that the place is now classified by UNESCO.
And you will finish at the foot of the minaret of the Koutoubia, masterpiece of the architects of the XIIe century, real symbol of Marrakech, recently restored.
